Rob is a Clinical Psychologist who has substantial experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. He has completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology with Commendation and Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Psychology.

Rob has over 10 years’ clinical experience working with client groups across the lifespan in a variety of settings. Rob has a wide range of experience working across various mental health sectors with a strong focus on community child and adolescent mental health. He also has experience working within ADHD and ASD assessment teams, early intervention Adolescent forensic services, and a range of adult community and inpatient mental health services.

Rob is passionate about working with young people as he feels as though he naturally connects with this age group. Further to this, Rob has gained experience in working with families and has found this to be a critical part of the therapeutic process in ensuring family are involved in a young person’s therapeutic journey and promoting positive change.

Rob is able to engage with vulnerable children and young people to help them work through highly distressing and challenging circumstances. Through parent work, Rob seeks to provide psycho-education for parents about their child’s concerns/difficulties as well as providing them with strategies and communication skills to better assist their child, which parents have found to be extremely helpful when dealing with a child in distress.

Rob has extensive experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He also has previous experience offering therapeutic intervention for young people with learning disabilities, as well as providing in-direct consultation and therapeutic support for parents/carers, schools, and other professionals.

Rob has vast experience in administering and interpreting a range of psychometric assessments including; WISC-V, WPPSI, neuro-psychological assessments, and mood assessments.  The results from an assessment process can also be used to help guide a young person’s learning and also inform the type of care and support the client may need.
