Lynn is a clinical psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology. Lynn has over 5 years of clinical experience working with client groups across the lifespan in a variety of settings. She has a wide range of experience working across various mental health sectors and specialises in community child, adolescent, and adult mental health, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders. Lynn has experience working with specialist ASD and ADHD behavioural assessment teams, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Systemic and Family Therapy teams, and community adult mental health services.
Lynn employs a holistic approach when working with clients, specifically tailored to their individual needs. Her main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Systemic Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), and Psychometric Cognitive Assessments. Over the course of her career, Lynn has developed wide range of psychological skills including assessment, formulation, diagnosis, consultation, risk assessment, and expertise in working with a variety of treatments and various cultural backgrounds.
Lynn is passionate about working with individuals across age groups as she enjoys supporting individuals to achieve their best functional abilities, regardless of personal circumstances. She believes in inclusive practice for individuals with disabilities. She has also gained experience working with families and has found this to be a critical part of the therapeutic process, that is, ensuring families are involved in a young person's therapeutic journey to help promote positive change.
