Manuela is a counsellor and life coach who works with young adults and adults. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Counselling, is an accredited telephone crisis supporter with Lifeline, and currently in the process of completing her Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Manuela is also a Life Coach.
Manuela worked in a variety of settings in the private and public sector, charities and the not-for-profit sector as well as in hospitals and prisons, which inspired her to delve deeper into people’s motivations and set-backs in life.
Manuela employs a holistic, compassionate, client-led person-centred approach when working with clients. Her main therapeutic approaches include; Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Facilitating Therapeutic Effectiveness through Focusing.
Manuela is passionate about working with people of all ages and walks of life as she feels that she naturally connects with people and inspires positive change through her warmth and enthusiasm. Further to this, Manuela has gained considerable experience in working with young people and adults. She also assists adults and young adults to work on their confidence and self-esteem who live with anxiety and depression.
