How it works

It is our priority at  4thought Psychology to individually pair all prospective clients with the practitioner who best matches their needs based experience and expertise. Our assessment team looks over each intake form individually and takes into consideration the concerns, personality, and therapeutic goals of each client to ensure they will be most appropriately assigned.

When you first enquire about an appointment, our reception team will send you an intake form for you to complete and return via email. Once received, our assessment team reviews it and assigns you to the most appropriate practitioner. As soon as we have an availability for an ongoing appointment, one of our receptionists will contact you directly to set up appointments.

All assessment team members are personally trained by the Director and Senior Psychologist, Louise Johnson, who also overlooks all client-practitioner assignments. All client intake information is kept entirely confidential.

* If you are eligible for a Mental Health Rebate, please see Rebates. You need to organise this with your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician and have the assessment and paperwork to bring to your first appointment.  You will not be able to receive any rebates through Medicare unless you have seen your GP prior to the appointment with a psychologist.
