Aleisha has experience working across the lifespan, from infants through to adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including not-for-profit and private mental health, aged care settings, organisational and school settings. She is passionate about working with young people and their families.
Aleisha employs a holistic approach when working with clients, specifically tailored to their individual needs. She is passionate about working with young people as she feels that she naturally connects with this age group. Further to this, Aleisha has gained experience in working with families to support the young person and has found this to be a critical part of the therapeutic process.
Through parent work, Aleisha seeks to educate parents about their child’s concerns as well as providing them with strategies and communication skills to better assist their child, something parents have found to be extremely helpful when dealing with a child in distress.
